The society is always keen to welcome singers of all voices: sopranos, altos, tenors and basses. Prospective younger members are especially welcome.

We do not hold auditions, and do not require any previous experience of choral singing. The ability to sing in tune and to read music, even if only at a basic level, are helpful, and we can help you develop your reading skills.

If you are thinking about joining, please do come along to a rehearsal to see what it’s like – you will be warmly welcomed and provided with copies of the music. We meet at Portishead Methodist Church, High Street, Portishead, BS20 6EN on Thursday evenings from 7.30pm until 9.30pm. Please check our Calendar page for dates of rehearsals and concerts. We also rehearse on the afternoon of concert days.

We only ask you to pay once you have attended three rehearsals and confirm your intention to join. Subscriptions are currently £150 per year. There is no charge for anyone in full-time education.
