The society is always keen to welcome singers of all voices: sopranos, altos, tenors and basses. Prospective younger members are especially welcome.

We do not hold formal auditions, and do not require any previous experience of choral singing. The ability to sing in tune, and to read music, even if only at a basic level, are helpful, and we can help you develop your reading skills. If you are thinking about joining please do come along to a rehearsal to see what it’s like. You will be warmly welcomed and provided with copies of the music. We only ask you to pay once you have attended three rehearsals and confirm your intention to join.

Our programme page gives details of the location, dates, and times of rehearsals, and of forthcoming concerts. We also rehearse on the afternoon of concert days.

Subscriptions are currently £120 per year. There is no charge for anyone in full-time education.
